EC report on Turkey - "Reforms on track but slow"

Turkey has continued to pursue political reforms however the pace slowed down during the past year, says the Commission's report.
On November 8, the European Commission published its package of reports
on enlargement- including its annual assessement on Turkey's progress.
According to O. Rehn, EU Commissioner for enlargement, "in the
public debate, one may get the impression that Turkey is backtracking
on the reforms. This is not the case. Turkey has continued political
reforms, even though their pace has slowed down during last year..."
