The AGBU is hosting two events for Young Professionals from around Europe from May 26 to 29, 2007 in the city of Valence (France).

Both events will provide opportunities for young Armenian professionals from around Europe to meet and discover new horizons and unexpected facets of the Armenian world.

• The Discovery and Networking weekend, an opportunity to make friends, learn about YP activities and participate in an exhilarating combination of cultural, outdoor and entertainment experiences, is open to all;

• The second YP Exchange and Development Seminar is subject to application.

The “Exchange and Development Seminar for Young European Armenians” aims to empower young Armenian professionals around Europe to acquire the skills, the self-confidence and the networks to develop successful projects.

Last year’s seminar, held in Brussels in April 2006, spawned new friendships, a lasting network and several new projects, including an international youth exchange with Armenia and a new Armenian language school in Barcelona.

The programme for this year’s seminar will again emphasize project exchange and training. It will also include workshops for project development, and is expected to initiate new European-level projects as well.
